Walt Disney World  (35 miles/56.3km) Walt Disney World has four theme parks, 24 onsite resorts, two water parks, four mini-golf courses, an interactive/video game park, and a shopping and nighttime entertainment area. Attraction type: Amusement/theme park; Disney Visit site

	Disney’s Animal Kingdom One of four separate theme parks within the Disney World complex. This park lets you explore the unpredictable world of animals on safari, in both their natural habitats and at stage shows. 	Disney-MGM Studios  One of four separate theme parks within the Disney World complex. Site of the film and television studios of the Disney Company where visitors can “co-star” in a TV show or get a chance to watch a film or television production in the making. 	Typhoon Lagoon Located between the Downtown Disney Marketplace and Disney-MGM Studios, this 56-acre tropically landscaped water park based around a huge wave pool covers 2.5 acres and holds 2.75 million gallons of water. Attraction type: Water park; Disney; Amusement/theme park Visit site

Universal Studios Orlando (21.6 miles/34.7km) Universal Studios Orlando is comprised of two amusement parks, three on-site hotels, and the Citywalk area.  Upon entering, you will navigate your way through Citywalk which is flanked by two amusement parks, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. 	Wet ’n Wild  (21.5 miles/34.7km) Located in the International Drive Resort Area, Orlando’s original waterpark, Wet ’n Wild, is a great day out for all ages with its emphasis on multi person rides that groups can enjoy together. Attraction type: Water park; Amusement/theme park Visit site
	Gatorland  (26.8 miles/43.2km) Gatorland features 3,000 alligators and 89 crocodiles, as well as a number of bird and snake exhibits. Attraction type: Wildlife park; Amusement/theme park; Zoo Visit site
	Ripley’s Believe It or Not (23.1 miles/37.2km) Ripley’s collection of stories and artifacts that ‘document’ the bizarre and incredible. Attraction type: Specialty museum Visit site
	Kennedy Space Center (45 miles/72.4km) Budding astronauts and their parents will thoroughly enjoy a visit to the Kennedy Space Center. It’s an hour from Orlando and well worth the drive. It comprises 70 plus acres of space hardware, artifacts from four decades of space exploration, lots of excellent exhibits and some superb film and video presentations. 	Cypress Gardens Adventure Park  (60 miles/96.6km) Cypress Gardens Adventure Park quiet simply has something for everybody and most of it is very good! From world renowned botanical gardens to daring, gravity-defying feats on ice and water, the park is able to blend both and it’s quite the combo! A couple of times a day the roar of powerful speedboats fills the air, as the cast of the world famous Cypress GardensWater Ski Showstrut their wet stuff!
